The “SD Platform Armenia” project is implemented by “We” Youth NGO of Lori Region, funded by the Max van der Stoel Foundation (FMS).

The project aims to enhance youth civic participation, leadership, digital, and soft skills, as well as to foster their active involvement in community and public life. The project is designed for youth aged 16 – 25 – particularly those residing in small and border communities who are often excluded from non-formal educational opportunities – and youth workers.

Three main initiatives are planned within the project:

Within the framework of the first initiative, workshops on leadership, local democracy, and digital citizenship were organized across the Lori, Shirak, and Kotayk regions.

The second initiative – the “Soft Skills Development Camp” – took place on August 15-17. During the camp, participants addressed teamwork, trust building and conflict management, negotiations and strategic communication, time and stress management, active citizenship, effective mentoring, and other key topics.

The third initiative is the National Forum dedicated to Human Rights Day, scheduled to take place on December 10 in Yerevan. It will bring together youth, decision-makers, and representatives from the public, private, and civil society sectors.
