On April 17, the twentieth workshop of the project “REGION: National Network for Reliable Information on Electoral Processes” was held in the Tsaghkahovit community of the Aragatsotn region.
The session was conducted by the project trainer, Kristine Hovsepyan. Participants discussed the role of the citizen in strengthening democracy and explored the fundamental principles of electoral processes and their practical application.
During the meeting, participants were also introduced to the e-draft and e-request platforms, learning how to use them as effective tools for civic engagement. Furthermore, frequently asked questions about elections were addressed, and common myths were identified and compared with actual facts and current legislation.
The workshop is implemented with the financial support of the European Union and the German Marshall Fund of the United States – Transatlantic Foundation (GMF TF). The “WE” Youth NGO of Lori Region bears full responsibility for the content, which does not necessarily reflect the views of the European Union or the GMF TF.
