“We” Youth NGO of Lori Region is launching the call for participants for the international project CoDes – Innovative Strategies to Combat Youth Depopulation, which will take place from September 22 to September 26, 2026 (travel days: September 21 and September 27) in Villacarrillo, Jaén, Spain.
About the Project
The main objective of the project is to empower youth workers, local decision-makers, and community actors to address the continuous migration of young people from rural areas. Through innovative methodologies, the project will explore themes such as rural entrepreneurship, digitalisation, youth participation in public life, green economy, local identity, and community development.
The project is based on non-formal education principles and features interactive workshops, exchange of international good practices, collaborative discussions, and networking opportunities to build long-term partnerships across Europe.
Key Details & Conditions:
- Who can apply: Youth workers, NGO staff/volunteers, trainers, local decision-makers, and active youth (18+ years old) interested in rural development.
- Visa Requirement: Only applicants who possess a valid Schengen visa (or EU residence/entry permit) for the project dates (September 21–27, 2026) are eligible to apply.
- Travel Reimbursement: Travel costs for participants from Armenia are reimbursed up to 600€ according to Erasmus+ rules (including organized pick-up/drop-off support between Madrid and Villacarrillo).
- Accommodation & Meals: Fully covered by the project (staying at Hotel Sierra de las Villas in Villacarrillo).
- Working Language: English.
- Participation Fee: 50 EUR
