On May 1, a regular workshop within the framework of the project “REGION: National Network for Reliable Information on Electoral Processes” was held in the Artashat community of the Ararat region. The participants included first-time voters, youth, women, seniors, and forcibly displaced persons from Artsakh. The session was conducted by project trainer Tatev Ghazaryan, who discussed the vital role and responsibility of the citizen in strengthening democratic values.

During the meeting, participants learned about the capabilities of the e-draft and e-request platforms and how to use them practically for civic oversight. Detailed focus was given to the fundamental principles of electoral rights and established voting procedures, while common challenges encountered on election day and appropriate ways to respond to them were also discussed.

The workshop is implemented with the financial support of the European Union and the German Marshall Fund of the United States – Transatlantic Foundation (GMF TF).
