On May 4, the 31st workshop within the framework of the project “REGION: National Network for Reliable Information on Electoral Processes” was held in the Ashtarak community of the Aragatsotn region. The event brought together youth, women, older adults, first-time voters, and forcibly displaced persons from Artsakh.

Led by project trainer and electoral processes expert Mariam Hoveyan, the participants discussed the role and responsibility of citizens in building a democracy, as well as common misconceptions regarding elections, cross-referencing them with current legislation. Additionally, the participants learned about the features and practical applications of the e-Draft and e-Request platforms.

The workshop is implemented with the financial support of the European Union and the German Marshall Fund of the United States-Transatlantic Foundation (GMF TF).
