In the Jermuk community of the Vayots Dzor region, a workshop was held within the framework of the “REGION- Reliable Elections Guidance & Information Outreach Nationwide” project.

The workshop addressed key topics such as the role of the citizen and foundations of participation in a democracy, the principles of suffrage, transparency, and accessibility, as well as election day procedures and the prevention of electoral violations.

The event was characterized by its interactive format. Participants engaged in detailed discussions regarding frequently asked questions about electoral processes, identified common myths, and contrasted them with real facts and legislative regulations. Through a practical simulation, participants had the opportunity to personally experience the entire chain of an election day-from the equipment of the polling station to the final count of results.

The workshop is implemented with the financial support of the European Union and the German Marshall Fund of the United States-Transatlantic Foundation (GMF TF).
