“We” Youth NGO of Lori Region, in cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, organized an information and public awareness meeting dedicated to the Vote Armenia digital tool. Liana Marukyan, Project Manager at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, delivered the opening remarks, highlighting the pivotal role of the tool as an effective means of raising public awareness regarding electoral processes and promoting civic participation.
During the meeting, Lilit Babayan, Researcher at the Faculty of Sociology at Yerevan State University (YSU), presented the comprehensive capabilities of the platform, the specifics of its application, and its essential role in fostering active civic engagement. Furthermore, the manual titled “Criminal Law Protection of the Rights to Participate in Elections and Referendums in the Republic of Armenia” was introduced to the participants. This guide holds significant importance in raising awareness about the legal mechanisms for protecting electoral rights, as well as expanding citizens’ legal knowledge. This initiative marks another significant step toward fostering an electoral culture and enhancing legal literacy and protection among youth and the wider public.
