On April 11, a regular workshop within the framework of the project “REGION: National Network for Reliable Information on Electoral Processes” was held in Vagharshapat. The initiative aimed to engage youth, women, seniors, first-time voters, and forcibly displaced persons from Artsakh in the civic education process.

The session was conducted by Mariam Hoveyan, project trainer and expert in electoral processes. Together with the participants, she discussed the role of the citizen in strengthening democracy and presented the fundamental principles and legal regulations of electoral processes, emphasizing their practical application.

During the meeting, participants were also introduced to the e-draft and e-request platforms, exploring their functionalities and usage. Special attention was given to identifying common misconceptions (myths) regarding elections and comparing them with actual facts and current legislation.

The workshop is implemented with the financial support of the European Union and the German Marshall Fund of the United States – Transatlantic Foundation (GMF TF).
