On April 26, a regular workshop within the framework of the project “REGION: National Network for Reliable Information on Electoral Processes” was held in the Masis community of the Ararat region. The training was attended by first-time voters, youth, women, seniors, and forcibly displaced persons from Artsakh.

The session was conducted by project trainer Arbak Sargsyan, who discussed the vital role and responsibility of the citizen in strengthening democratic values. During the meeting, the fundamental principles of electoral law, voting procedures, as well as common situations encountered on polling day and the correct ways to respond to them, were presented. Participants were also introduced to the e-draft and e-request platforms, discovering their potential and practical application options.

The workshop is implemented with the financial support of the European Union and the German Marshall Fund of the United States – Transatlantic Foundation (GMF TF).
