On December 10, the Lori Regional Library hosted the final event of the “Colors of Freedom: Art Against Violence” project, bringing together the power of art and civic voice against gender-based violence.

The event consisted of two main components:

  • Panel Discussion: Speakers Mariam Mughdusyan (gender specialist) and Gegham Begjanyan (artist) discussed manifestations of gender-based violence, prevention methods, feminist values, and the impact of art on public perceptions.
  • Feminist Art Exhibition: Under the title “Art Speaks,” the exhibition featured the best works from an open feminist art competition. The showcased pieces reflected ideas of gender justice, freedom, identity, and solidarity.

At the end of the event, guests left their written thoughts and messages in a special corner titled “My Message Against Violence,” expressing their support for the fight against abuse.

The “Colors of Freedom: Art Against Violence” project is implemented by the “We” Youth NGO of Lori Region with the financial support of the Women’s Fund Armenia (WFA).
