On July 30-31, Aram Gevorgyan, member of the “We” Youth NGO of Lori Region, participated in the Advocacy School organized within the framework of the “CSO Advocacy in Times of Uncertainty” project, which brought together civil society representatives from Moldova, Armenia, and Ukraine.

Event Highlights & Key Topics:

  • Exchange of Experience: Participants presented their organizations’ work, advocacy tools, and challenges, discussing effective ways to communicate with communities, authorities, and the general public.
  • Organizational Capacity: It was highlighted that institutional reputation and trust are built on transparency, accountability, and consistency. The importance of well-prepared teams, functional monitoring mechanisms, and data protection protocols was also emphasized.
  • Expert Dialogue: A discussion was held with Daniela Vidaicu, Executive Director of Soros Foundation Moldova and Facilitator of the National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum, exploring opportunities for regional cooperation and coalition building.

Although the study visit has concluded, the newly formed regional partnerships will serve as a strong foundation for joint efforts to protect civic space and democratic values.
