On April 21, the “REGION: National Network for Reliable Information on Electoral Processes” project was implemented in the Armavir community. The workshop aimed to actively engage women, seniors, first-time voters, and forcibly displaced persons from Artsakh in the civic education process. The session was conducted by project trainer Arbak Sargsyan, who discussed the role and responsibility of the citizen in the establishment of democracy. Participants were introduced to the e-draft and e-request platforms, discovering their potential and practical methods of use. During the meeting, the fundamental principles and standards of electoral law, voting procedures, as well as common situations encountered on polling day and the correct ways to respond to them, were presented.

The workshop is implemented with the financial support of the European Union and the German Marshall Fund of the United States – Transatlantic Foundation (GMF TF).
