On April 19, the “REGION: National Network for Reliable Information on Electoral Processes” project was implemented in the Tsaghkadzor community of the Kotayk region. The workshop aimed to involve youth, women, seniors, first-time voters, and forcibly displaced persons from Artsakh in the civic education process. The session was conducted by project trainer and electoral process expert Mariam Hoveyan, who presented the role and responsibility of the citizen and discussed the importance of establishing democracy. Participants were introduced to the e-draft and e-request platforms, discovering their potential and practical methods of use. The workshop stood out for its interactive format: through a practical simulation game, participants had the opportunity to personally experience the entire chain of the voting day, from the preparation and furnishing of the polling station to the final tabulation of results.

The workshop is implemented with the financial support of the European Union and the German Marshall Fund of the United States – Transatlantic Foundation (GMF TF).
