A workshop within the “REGION: National Network for Reliable Awareness of Electoral Processes” project was held in the Vanadzor community of the Lori region. The session was led by project trainer Vahe Khachikyan, under whose guidance participants discussed the role and significance of civic participation in public life.

The workshop agenda covered the fundamental principles of electoral law and ensuring its accessibility. Participants had the opportunity to compare common stereotypes with actual legislative facts and discuss various types of electoral violations along with mechanisms for their prevention and response. Special emphasis was placed on the entire voting day process-from polling station preparation to the final tabulation of results-allowing participants to practically understand the importance of transparency within the electoral system.

The workshop is implemented with the financial support of the European Union and the German Marshall Fund of the United States-Transatlantic Foundation (GMF TF).
