On April 3, the thirteenth workshop of the project “REGION: National Network for Reliable Information on Electoral Processes” was held in the Vardenis community of the Gegharkunik region. The session was conducted by the project trainer, Vahe Khachikyan.
During the workshop, participants discussed various forms and tools of civic participation, electoral principles, as well as the importance of universal suffrage and its implementation in democratic processes.
In the second part of the event, a simulation exercise was organized, providing young people with the opportunity to assume the roles of different actors in the electoral process. They personally organized the entire voting procedure, from the preparation and furnishing of the polling station to the final tabulation of results.
