On April 3, the regular workshop of the project “REGION: National Network for Reliable Information on Electoral Processes” was held in the Charentsavan community of the Kotayk region. The session was conducted by Mariam Hoveyan, project trainer and expert in electoral processes.
During the workshop, participants discussed the role of the citizen in strengthening democracy and examined the legal principles and standards of elections in detail. Special attention was paid to modern tools: participants were introduced to the e-draft and e-request platforms and practiced various ways to use them effectively.
The meeting also addressed common myths regarding electoral processes, which were compared with actual facts and legislative regulations. Participants received comprehensive answers to frequently asked questions aimed at promoting electoral culture and transparency.
The workshop is implemented with the financial support of the European Union and the German Marshall Fund of the United States – Transatlantic Foundation (GMF TF). The “WE” Youth NGO of Lori Region bears full responsibility for the content, which does not necessarily reflect the views of the European Union or the GMF TF.
