On September 5, 2025, a three-day workshop of The “She” in Civic program kicked off at the TUC camp in Dsegh. Thirty young women and girls from four regions of Armenia-Gegharkunik, Lori, Aragatsotn, and Syunik-arrived in Dsegh to participate in strengthening women’s civic leadership.
The project was opened by Madlen Minasyan, the Operations Coordinator of “WE” Youth NGO of Lori region. The event hosted Andrew Turner, Ambassador of Canada to Armenia, who delivered welcoming remarks and spoke about Armenia–Canada relations, the funding provided through the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI), and the importance of raising awareness on women’s rights.
“Promoting women’s participation in local decision-making through capacity-building workshops, gender-focused educational tools, and grassroots advocacy campaigns” project is implemented by We Youth NGO of Lori region.
