“We” Youth NGO of Lori Region, in cooperation with “Youth for Change” NGO, is implementing the project “Youth-Led Oversight for Transparent 2026 Elections in Armenia.” The project aims to contribute to the transparency and accountability of the 2026 parliamentary elections by strengthening the participation of youth and local civil society in electoral oversight processes.
Within the framework of the project, an election observation mission will be established, and around 50 young observers from Shirak, Lori, and Tavush regions will be recruited. They will participate in training sessions, acquire practical skills in monitoring electoral processes, and carry out short-term observation during the elections.
The initiative is aimed at increasing public trust in electoral processes, promoting youth civic engagement, and contributing to the formation of a more inclusive, participatory, and democratic electoral environment in Armenia.
The project is implemented with the financial support of the European Union. Its contents are the sole responsibility of the “Youth for Change” Civil Society Development NGO and “We” Youth NGO of Lori Region, and do not necessarily reflect the views of the European Union.
