On March 16, 2025, within the framework of the “Promoting Youth Participation in Lori: Increasing Civic Engagement at Local and Regional Levels” project, a civic dialogue meeting was held between the local government representatives of Tumanyan community and the project participants. The meeting provided a platform for young people to address their concerns directly to local authorities.
During the session, participants presented the community issues they had previously identified. Svetlana Yeganyan, a member of the local council, welcomed the participants’ readiness to contribute to the development of cultural and youth life in the community. Through a joint voting process, the participants and local government representatives selected the priority issue that will be addressed through specific initiatives in the coming months of the project.
This event was implemented by “WE” NGO with the support of the “EU4Youth: Youth Engagement and Empowerment” project, operating under the “Strengthening Civil Society in the Eastern Partnership Countries” program, co-funded by the German Government and the European Union.
