On April 25, 2025, within the framework of the project “Promoting Youth Participation in Lori: Increasing Civic Engagement at Local and Regional Levels,” trainer Vahe Khachikyan presented the key topics of leadership, civic rights, and local self-government (LSG) to the participants.
Through group work and active discussions, the youth were introduced to the official community website and its various features. The session placed a particular emphasis on the essence of civic participation and its importance for community development. For many participants, this was their first encounter with community digital tools, which will now enable them to stay better informed and follow local events and decision-making processes more effectively.
This event was implemented with the support of the “EU4Youth: Youth Engagement and Empowerment” project, operating under the “Strengthening Civil Society in the Eastern Partnership Countries” program, co-funded by the German Government and the European Union.
