On May 2, a regular workshop within the framework of the project “REGION: National Network for Reliable Information on Electoral Processes” was held in the Goris community of the Syunik region.
Led by project trainer Mariam Mkrtchyan, the participants discussed the role of citizens and foundations of participation in a democracy, the principles of electoral rights, as well as election day procedures and the prevention of electoral violations. The workshop stood out for its interactive format; through a practical simulation game, participants had the opportunity to personally experience the entire cycle of election day, from polling station setup to the final tabulation of results.
