On April 18, a regular workshop within the framework of the project “REGION: National Network for Reliable Information on Electoral Processes” was held in the Noyemberyan community of the Tavush region, targeting first-time voters, women, and forcibly displaced persons from Artsakh. The session was conducted by project trainer Vahe Khachikyan, who presented the significance of civic participation, the fundamental principles of electoral law, as well as the types of electoral violations and mechanisms for their prevention and resolution, covering the entire voting day process. Participants also were introduced to the e-draft and e-request platforms, exploring their practical application possibilities. During the meeting, frequently asked questions about elections were discussed, common misconceptions were identified and compared with current legislation and facts.
The workshop is implemented with the financial support of the European Union and the German Marshall Fund of the United States – Transatlantic Foundation (GMF TF). The “WE” Youth NGO of Lori Region bears full responsibility for the content, which does not necessarily reflect the views of the European Union or the GMF TF.
