In 2025, during the second day of the two-day “Leading in the Community” workshop, participants met with project mentor and “WE” Youth NGO Program Manager, Madlen Minasyan.
During the session, Madlen Minasyan introduced participants to the concept of community initiatives, sharing successful examples previously implemented by the organization’s youth. Subsequently, the participants divided into working groups to map “problem trees” for their respective communities, identifying the root causes and consequences of local issues.
In the second part of the meeting, the youth presented the results of their practical work and planned specific community initiatives and action plans aimed at addressing the identified issues.
The “Leading in the Community” sub-grant project for empowering girls in the Lori and Tavush regions, implemented by the “WE” Youth NGO of Lori Region, was part of the “Empowering Women’s Rights Defenders in Armenia” program by the Institute of Liberal Politics, supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Armenia.
