In 2025, within the framework of the second phase of the “Leading in the Community” project, a two-day workshop was organized for the youth of the Tashir community in the Lori region.
On the first day of the workshop, trainer Vahe Khachikyan discussed leadership, local self-government, and the significance of participation in community life. Practical and interactive games were organized for the participants, helping them reinforce the theoretical materials and better understand leadership roles and community management mechanisms.
The “Leading in the Community” sub-grant project for empowering girls in the Lori and Tavush regions, implemented by the “WE” Youth NGO of Lori Region, was part of the “Empowering Women’s Rights Defenders in Armenia” program by the Institute of Liberal Politics, supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Armenia.
