On December 7, 2025, the SD Platform, in collaboration with the “WE” Youth NGO of Lori region and with the support of the Foundation Max van der Stoel (FMS), held a workshop on Labor Rights, attended by approximately 65 young people from various regions of Armenia.
The workshop opened with welcoming remarks by Kido Koenig, Director of the FMS; Armen Mkchyan, Board Member of SD Platform; and Madlen Minasyan, Operational Coordinator of the “WE” Youth NGO of Lori region.
The event featured a panel discussion with prominent speakers:
- Ruben Sargsyan – Director of the “National Institute of Labor and Social Research” SNCO
- Liana Badalyan – Coordinator of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FES) Armenia Office
- Elen Manaseryan – President of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia
During the discussion, participants explored labor rights, existing challenges, and opportunities, as well as platforms designed to facilitate youth integration into the labor market.
In the afternoon session, participants engaged in group work using the World Café method. They developed and presented proposals aimed at addressing current issues and identifying practical solutions across various topics.
The workshop was organized by the “WE” Youth NGO of Lori region within the framework of the SD Platform Armenia program, funded by the Max van der Stoel Foundation and implemented in cooperation with SD Platform Armenia.
